My mother Hosneara Begum Chowdhury came from Bangladesh for treatment purpose and admitted here under Dr. Vibek Goal. We stay here last seven days and we have bound to take your food. Firstly we have confused about everything specially food as we are from different country. But we are satisfied your food and service also. Thanks.

Very bad experience, i spent 1400 rupees to get a check up for lasik surgery with dr.parthasarathi , i had called 1 week in advance and they said yes this doctor does lasik surgery and come in 1 week later, when I finally went I paid the 1400 and he says we do not do this here u have to go and do it at another location!! So what did I spend 1400 rupees for? Just for them to tell me they can’t do it?? And to go elsewhere?? What is this system? Is it because I am a foreigner from usa?? Why didn’t they just tell me that it they don’t it from the start!!! This whole place is a scam!

Doctors, clinal support and non clinical staff are excellent and probably the best in patient care. My wife had emergency robotic surgery and she was able to be back on her feet in two days. It's unbelievable. For patients who pay using international credit cards, should be allowed to choose USD or GBP (based on the home country currency), which doesn't affect the payment to Apollo in INR, but helps the patient to minimise the bank charges. It's a standard practise of paying by UK/USA credit cards elsewhere, unfortunately the billing staff are unaware. Other than this it was an excellent experience.

In India, Large-format hospitals often appear cold, intimidating, and complex to those who are otherwise healthy and fortunate enough to stay away from regular visits. Mainstream media and cinema also tend to project big hospitals as entities primarily focused on making money. All of these preconceptions were PLEASANTLY PROVEN WRONG during my recent stay at Apollo Multispeciality Hospitals, Kolkata, where I ended up after an accident. Though initially complex to navigate, one quickly becomes familiar with the layout after a few visits. I experienced FAIR CASHLESS TREATMENT, METHODICAL ADMISSION AND DISCHARGE PROCESSES, MODERN MEDICAL FACILITIES & TECHNOLOGY, IMPECCABLE CLEANLINESS, EXTRAORDINARY INFRASTRUCTURE, and most importantly, a COMPASSIONATE AND COURTEOUS HARD-WORKING STAFF. Here are some non-doctors / admin I met during my misadventure and their contributions to my well-being : Akash Singh, Secretary to my Doctor, Dr. Ravi Ganesh Bharadwaj : He was one person who calmed me down, ensured I understood all instructions properly, and guided me on securing a fair and economical package. He is one of the most decent and kind secretaries one could ever hope to meet, and he managed my entire admission process. The warm, compassionate nursing team never said no to my slightest needs and offered courage when I needed it most. This dedicated, attentive, hard-working team included Sisters Trisha Mondol, Sumona Laga, Arpita Biswas, Sahani Khatun, Pampa, Male Nurse Kingshuk, and Raju, the kind-hearted Attendant. The team is capably led by Serina Khatun and Lutfa Halder Khan, Senior Superintendents of Nursing, who consistently seek feedback. They are all well-trained in modern treatments and soft skills. Dipmoy Chakraborty, Senior Coordinator of Guest Relations, Apollo, patiently assisted me during discharge, explaining each formality. Saikat Mitra, Junior Executive - Insurance Desk, managed the nitty-gritty details of the settlement claim with the TPA efficiently and fairly. Lastly, I greatly admire the captain of the ship who holds the entire hospital together: the General Manager – Operations, Mr. Dulal Chakraborty. He personally took an interest in my needs and ensured I had an early discharge. AREAS FOR IMPROVEMENT : 1. Poor Toilet Layout: The toilets were not odor-free, possibly due to a lack of exhaust fans. They also lacked necessary safety features for accident prevention, such as handrails. An additional generic wash basin in the general ward is essential for the safety of patients. 2. Extremely Swamped Insurance Processes: The cashless pre-authorization counters are overwhelmed, with a huge, serpentine queue awaiting patients who are retail insurance policyholders. 3. Costly Testing Services: The cost of testing services is comparatively higher than market rates. ------------------------------------ Overall, it’s a 5 Star Experience & Service providing Accessible Medical Services to Society with Modern Infrastructure & Compassionate Staff. ----------------- …. … .. . . . . . . . #Apollo #hospitals #medical #shayanmitramustafi #shayanmitra

I had to undergo my knee surgery for which I had to be hospitalized for 3 days. Their service is very good with decent ambience, good in hygiene and cleanliness. All the staffs were great, helpful. Be it the housekeeping or the lift man, everybody was great. The male and female nurses took great care of mine and helped me get better soon. The quality and the quantity of the food that was served to me was also great and sumptuous.

If you are an international patient, there is a bad news for you. You have to pay extra 30% in any surgery. This is set by the govt. The hospital environment is good. You need an appointment for patients. 1st you have to register. The registration fee is 300. Then you are ready for a visit.
