My name is Dee Kolsawala and I am a Citizen of U.S.A. My husband Malik kolsawala is also a U.S. citizen and a thorough breed Indian. We were visiting Indian this month, March 2025. We were looking forward to visiting since I had to go through a rigorous process to obtain visa to India that took 12 years. My joy was cut short because I had food poisoning that lead to existing gallbladder stones issue, that I was totally unaware of. Needless to say my husband and wanted to cut our trip short and return back to USA for further evaluation. But the luck would have it otherwise. I ended in an ER at Manipal hospital, Pune on the eve of Holi. Long story short we met Dr. Pradeepkumar Jadhav for consultation. During our consultation we felt comfortable to proceed with the recommended surgery. Dr. Jadhav operated on me and removed the gallbladder along with 4 marble size stones. Needless to say the mental anguish of unexpected events and nervousness of dealing with a doctor outside my country was nerve racking. All that subsided during the operational procedures and post operation care. I hope my road to recovery continues and I can make home safely. The experience was undoubtedly positive and I will always remember "my doc" Dr. Pradeepkumar Jadhav and his magnetic smile.
