It was a wonderful moment with knowledgeable physicians, and other staff at BGS Hospital. Staff at the International department always there to assist before and after arrival ensuring all appointments and movements in the hospital goes as planned. Dr. Jayanth and his team at the OT and ward were very friendly that you cannot wait to commend them for the fantastic job.. The exercise and equipment at the physiotherapy section helped me to fill the difference. I will really be a good ambassador to you people at Gleneagles BGS Hospital Bangalore. Actually I'm flying home to Tanzania with a different health condition. You may think of visiting them for better health for yourself ,relatives and friends and you will not regrets.

One will not feel that we are visiting doctor or hospital. It is something like our own house. The rest rooms are excellent. Neat Hygienic . Even in USA I have Not Seen This type of excellent rest rooms Thanks for All Staff for having taken care of my health

BGS Hospital in Kengeri is truly exceptional! From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable, and caring. The facilities were, clean, and well-maintained. The medical care I received was outstanding, and the doctors were thorough and compassionate. I felt safe and well taken care of throughout my stay. I highly recommend Gleneagles BGS Hospital in Kengeri for anyone seeking quality healthcare treatment for any major or minor surgery. In particular I would like to thank Mr Junaid, Mr Shimbu, Mr Viraj, for all the assistance the provided to navigate the legalities and complexities involved with international patients. I would also like to thank Dr Pradeep, Dr Chetan, Dr Promodh and Dr Suresh on the successful surgery and making sure we were well informed throughout the whole process and what risks were involved. And a special thanks to the nursing staff Bhagya luxmi, Margaret, Geetha, Ramiya and everyone else who assisted in caring for myself and my father post operation, it is clear to me that patient care is engrained as a priority within every staff member at this hospital. Thank you again BGS team.

I came to Bangalore for my mother’s cancer treatment. Dr. Monica and the staff at the oncology department were extremely caring and helpful to us. She had explained my mother’s situation and immediately started the treatment. Within just a week, multiple tests and surgery had been done. She was discharged just 2 days after surgery. It could not have been possible if not for the care we got from the nurses. A very special thanks to the staff at the international patient office for helping us throughout the process.

The hospital reception and admission process look very impressive. Initially, everyone is polite, welcoming, and reassuring. Unfortunately, that is where the good experience ended. My father-in-law was admitted to BGS Hospital for serious liver-related issues and was shifted to the ICU for immediate care. When I visited him during visiting hours, I was shocked to see that he was not receiving any IV medication and was simply sleeping. He was feeling extremely cold and told me, “Please tell them to give me another blanket. I asked them long back, and they still didn’t give me.” He had only one blanket in the ICU. An extra blanket was provided only after I personally informed the nurse. Before admitting him to the ICU, we had clearly asked the doctors and staff whether food should be given before admission or whether it would be provided in the ICU. We were assured that it would be taken care of. However, even by 5 PM—three hours after ICU admission—he had still not been given any food. His last meal was a very light breakfast at 8 AM. Again, food was arranged only after I followed up with the nurse, and ganji was provided. When I politely raised these concerns and asked the staff to take better care of him, a male nurse named Loyd intervened and behaved in a very rude and unprofessional manner. Regarding the blanket, he said aggressively, “Everyone gets only one blanket. We have already given him two.” I calmly replied, “Sir, he cannot tolerate cold. That is why he asked earlier, but no one gave it. You gave it only after I informed the nurse.” I then asked about the medications being administered and the next steps in his treatment. LOYD immediately interrupted and said rudely, “We won’t know all that. You can’t ask us these questions. The doctor is right there. I’ll call him.” LOYD went to the doctor in an irritated tone and said, “The attender wants to talk to you.” I again responded politely and said, “Sir, please don’t get offended. I am only asking because I need to understand what is happening with my father-in-law.” At no point was I rude or confrontational—I was simply trying to ensure basic care and understand my father-in-law’s condition. As attenders are not allowed 24/7 in the ICU, I felt intimidated and avoided escalating the issue further out of fear that it might affect his care and what if he injects anything purposely that might harm my father-in-law’s health. Despite my father-in-law having breathing issues that required oxygen, he was only given nebulization. After this, his condition started worsening. We were forced to shift him to another hospital at 2 AM. Later, we were informed that he had a serious lung infection along with his existing liver disease—something that was not adequately identified or managed at BGS. Overall, the experience was extremely distressing. The staff appears attentive only until admission is completed. After that, the care felt negligent, and ICU admission seemed routine rather than effective. When it comes to healthcare, especially life-threatening conditions, such lapses are unacceptable. I would not recommend BGS Hospital to anyone.
